Emily Neale

Programme & Relationship Manager

Emily is a flute, saxophone and clarinet player and music educator originally from Yorkshire, whose musical journey began at a young age. She went on to study at Chetham’s School of Music as a scholarship student, an experience that shaped her understanding of the transformative impact of access to high-quality music education. She later graduated from Leeds Conservatoire before beginning her career in music education. Emily has since worked across a range of settings in the UK and internationally, including classroom teaching, one-to-one tuition, and community music programmes. Her experience includes working as a visiting woodwind tutor with Kirklees Music Service, delivering instrumental lessons, workshops, and ensemble provision across schools and music centres in West Yorkshire. Emily draws on both her professional experience and personal background to understand the barriers young musicians may face. She is passionate about widening access to music education and is committed to supporting young people and their families.
