Leeds University Union Music Society (LUUMS) is one of the largest societies in the University Union. Led by President Katie Grundonner, the society hosts 11 ensembles including a Chamber Choir, Brass Band and a Composers Collective. LUUMS offers both auditioned and non-auditioned ensembles, allowing performers of varying abilities to develop their skills and connect with other passionate musicians. Furthermore, they are dedicated to fostering a welcoming and supportive community for musicians to thrive in. Each year, LUUMS performs regularly at venues throughout Leeds, including the Clothworkers Centenary Concert Hall and St. George’s Church.
