A Night of Music, Art, and Inspiration at our 20th birthday

Future Talent marked an extraordinary milestone: 20 years of supporting and nurturing young musical talent. We had a birthday party to celebrate, which took place at the Philip Mould Gallery. Surrounded by stunning works of art, it was the perfect stage for a memorable evening.

The highlights of the night was of course the breathtaking performances by four of Future Talent’s young musicians. Double bassist Izzy captivated the audience with her rendition of Rachmaninoff’s Vocalise and Dittersdorf's Concerto. Bassoonist Katie, a returning performer from Future Talent’s 15th birthday, gave a charming performance of select movements from Galliards sonata, and a song called Lucy Long.

Cellist Luke delivered an emotionally charged interpretation of Shostakovich’s Cello Sonata Pianst Ben closed the evening in stylewith Rachmaninoff’s Prelude and a rendition of Gershwin’s I Got Rhythm.

The evening was made even more special by the presence of some special guests, including our ambassador Alexander Armstrong, musician Kyle Simmons of Bastille, conductor Ben Gernon, and Lady Helen and Tim Taylor, whose support has been instrumental to our journey.
